Terrific book that covers everything you need to know about understanding credit, budgeting your money, getting your credit report, fixing your credit, preventing identity theft, etc. It’s written in an easy to understand way and has a CD with all the forms which is really convenient.

This book is thick with pages and thin as plastic wrap with information. Sure, there is a CD with all those ‘useful’ forms and that doesn’t make up for the fact that this book doesn’t really cover ANYTHING to depth.

I picked up a copy because a chiropractor mis-billed my insurance, never bothered to contact me and then after two years sent me to a collection agency. I used the Dispute and Verification of Agency form included on the CD which is supposed to get some information on the debt as well as validation that the agency is legit.

What I received for my trouble was a ten day demand letter. This book does not tell you what to do next if its forms and processes go any way other than as they say it should. I paid off the collection agency to keep my credit clear; In essence I paid for someone else’s mistake.

DO NOT BUY THIS STUPID BOOK. Take yourself and someone you like to Starbuck’s or Peete’s Coffee and talk about anything you like other than repairing your credit.

Just my opinion, I’d rather pay someone to do it if all the published resources are like this one. It is a complete waste of money and the time you’ll spend reading it.

This book is informative and helpful for readers looking to improve or repair their credit. Although, do not be mislead with the title, this product is not a “quick-fix” for your credit troubles.

I found the information to be helpful and informative and the response letters well written all of which are helpful with achieving your goals of good credit.

This book doesn’t give enough information about how and what negative items to dispute on your credit report to raise your credit score.

This book is wonderful for someone with no knowledge of credit. It walks you through the entire process. Recommended!
